    This 3-core power cable is designed for medium and high-voltage power transmission scenarios, with its model parameters and structural design fully meeting industrial-grade power transmission requirements. The core conductor is made of copper (Cu), which has excellent electrical conductivity, effectively reducing energy loss during power transmission. The conductor specifications include two expressions: 350 thousand circular mils (Mcm) and 175 square millimeters (mm²). The former is an imperial unit, and the latter is an international unit. The cross-sectional areas corresponding to both are similar, ensuring that the cable can carry large currents and meet the current-carrying requirements of medium and high-voltage power transmission. The insulation layer is made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) material, which has excellent electrical insulation performance, temperature resistance, and mechanical strength. It can work stably under the rated voltage of 8.7/15kV, effectively isolating the conductor from the external environment, preventing leakage and breakdown, and ensuring the safety and reliability of power transmission. The shielding layer is designed as a copper tape shield (Cts). The copper tape shield can evenly distribute the electric field, reduce insulation aging caused by electric field concentration, and at the same time play a certain electromagnetic shielding role, reducing the electromagnetic interference of the cable to surrounding equipment and improving the stability of the system operation. The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. The PVC sheath has good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and moisture resistance, which can effectively protect the internal structure of the cable from erosion by the external environment (such as soil, moisture, mechanical collision, etc.), extend the service life of the cable, and make it suitable for various laying environments, including underground direct burial and pipeline laying. In addition, the impulse withstand voltage (BIL) of the cable reaches 133%, indicating that it has strong resistance to overvoltage. It can maintain insulation performance when subjected to lightning strikes or operating overvoltages, reduce the probability of faults, and further improve the safe operation level of the cable in the power system.
