    PVC insulated THW cable is a commonly used cable in house wiring. It adopts 7-strand pure copper conductors with specifications covering 8, 10, 12, and 14 AWG, which can meet the needs of different household electrical scenarios and provide stable and safe power transmission guarantee for the household electrical system.​ In terms of conductor structure, each conductor of the cable is composed of 7 strands of pure copper wire stranded together. The pure copper material (purity ≥99.9%) has excellent conductivity, which can efficiently transmit current and reduce line loss. The 7-strand stranded design not only enhances the flexibility of the conductor, making it easy to bend and thread through pipes in house wiring, adapting to complex laying environments such as walls and floors, but also improves the mechanical strength of the conductor, which can withstand slight stretching and vibration during installation and long-term use, extending the service life of the cable. The thickness of the insulation layer varies according to specifications: 8 AWG is about 0.8mm, 10 AWG is about 0.7mm, 12 AWG is about 0.6mm, and 14 AWG is about 0.5mm, all of which can provide reliable insulation protection to prevent electric leakage accidents. At the same time, the PVC insulation layer has certain flame retardant performance, which can delay combustion in high temperature or early fire, buying time for personnel evacuation and fire fighting.​ In house wiring applications, the diversified specifications of the cable can achieve precise matching: 14 AWG and 12 AWG are widely used in indoor lighting and ordinary socket circuits to meet the needs of daily electrical equipment; 10 AWG and 8 AWG are separately wired for high-power appliances to avoid problems such as tripping or line overheating caused by overload. Its color identification is clear, commonly including black, white, red, etc., which is convenient for distinguishing different circuits and simplifying the installation and later maintenance processes.​ In addition, the rated voltage of the cable is 600V, which meets the household electricity voltage standard, and can work stably for a long time in the ambient temperature range of -15℃ to 60℃, adapting to the climate conditions in different regions.
