Power cable with PVC insulation is widely used in low and medium voltage power distribution systems due to its reliability, durability, and cost‑effectiveness. PVC, or polyvinyl chloride, is a thermoplastic material that provides excellent electrical insulation and mechanical protection to the conductor. This type of cable is suitable for fixed installation in industrial plants, commercial buildings, residential areas, and infrastructure projects where consistent and safe power transmission is required.The conductor is typically made of high‑purity copper or aluminum, either stranded or solid, depending on the required flexibility and current‑carrying capacity.
